Find a relationship

A large sea, a small boat. A long path, a distant door. Begin with the relationship that gives the story its emotional weight.

Make room for a scene

Tracks through snow. A dune in the wind. A few colours and a clear composition keep the image alive, even at thumbnail size.

AI generates the illustration. Chinese letterforms and English roman/italic rhythms respond to each story, with deliberate space for the title and author.
